LI: To plan, design and create a class star for matariki that tells a story.
The task was to create a matariki star on the dlo.
we have to do the drawing on the piece of paper for the matariki star and we use the dlo to create the matariki star and we have to vote the people for the matariki star and the painters will paint on the matariki.
I enjoyed activity because it tells about the matariki.
LI: Round numbers up to the millions and two decimal places.
The task was to do rounding up the numbers in our maths books
In our books we wrote down the rounding up question and every digit you put in the place value put a zero like 3 200 000 or 3 294 330.
I enjoyed the activiy because it learns about rounding the numbers.
LI: To write a poem that describes as moment in time.
Our task was to create a dlo for the polar bear peom. we use five words for the peom to write the dlo,I heard,saw,felt and wondered and we use momment in time planner and we have to be in groups of 3.
I enjoyed because it use five words to write down our dlo like I heard, saw, felt and wondered.
LI: To summanise a newspaper article.
For today’s task was to make a google map.
We chose five words like timeliness, relevance, progress, conflict and impact for the google maps. In the google maps we have to do was summary the news from doing national and international and the current events words and we have be pairs and we chose the New zealand five news and the world five news like for sydney warned about the heavy rain in sydeny that was timeless.
I enjoyed this activiy because it tells about the news and the current events around the world and New zealand.
LI: To write a poem that describes as moment in time.
The task was to create a dlo for the mt wellngton peom.
We made a poem on the moment in time planner and wrote about the past and present and makes the peom good like these five words, i heard, i saw, i felt and i wondered and we made a google drawing for the poem and we to be in groups of three. And wrote about the ancestors.
I enjoyed this activity because the peom of the mt wellington can be past and the present.
Today task was to create a google draw for the sound focus. We got writing book and whiteboard. We have to break 3 times like bread and great with a whiteboard and the whiteboard marker and we have to say our partner and we to say diferent ‘ea’ words and we have make a google draw for the vowel sounds. I enjoyed this activiy because ‘ea’ vowels like br-ea-k and sn-ea-k.
LI: To read the text, gather, sort, graph and analyse the data.
The task was to make a google sheet for the graph bar for the blog post each year and making the google draw for the statistics investigation for the highest and lowest blog post each year because in 2023 i had 32 blog post and in 2020 i had only 2 blog post.
I learnt about Mean, Median, Mode mean in maths. mean means the sum of group of numbers, divided by how many numbers are in the group. Median means is the middle of a sorted list of numbers. Mode means To find the mode, or modal, first a number that appears the most is the mode.
I enjoyed this activity because my highest blog posts was 32 in 2023.
LI: To connect to the whenua around Panmure Bridge School
Our Activity is to find history of the streets and we use kiddle to search history and read the backstory. These streets were called: Alamein Road, Tripoli Road, Upham Road, Matapan Road, Caen Road, Church Crescent, Mareth Street, Pilkington Road.
This activity was enjoyable because the streets/road were history.
